ELECTRONICS       TGJ3AD
The electronics revolution is having dramatic effect on everyone. Electronics is a fast growing industry where the possibilities are excellent for employment in a wide variety of specialties. Topics such as a regulated power supply, intercom, radio and satellite communications, robotics, lasers, and more are covered in this course. As always, most learning is through hands-on activities.

COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY       TGJ3AB
This is a course in digital electronics. Projects such as "The Reaction Timer", "Who's first?", sound effects generator and digital dice are just some of the circuits students will construct. Since digital circuits are being used in electronic systems now more than ever before, students would be wise to become familiar with this exciting branch of electronics.

COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY       TGJ4AB
Students who enroll in this course will develop an understanding of computer hardware and the way in which it is used. Projects such as "Digital Combination Lock", memory circuits, and shift registers, are just some of the circuits that students will be constructing in this course. Since such circuits tend to be large, the troubleshooting skills learned in the TGJ3AB course prove invaluable in TGJ4AB.

COMPUTER INTERFACING       TEI0A1
Interfacing to a computer is the main focus of this course. Students choosing this course will be challenged by project that will require them to solve given problems through a design process, fabrication of the hardware solution and testing to evaluate the final product. Projects ranging from simple interface circuits to stepper motor controllers are just a few circuits which students will construct. This course stresses independent work. Make it part of your OAC program!
